Making an InDesign PDF

• Go to File>Adobe PDF Presets>[PDF/X-1a:2001]
  (This is the same high-quality setting you would send to a professional printer)
• (Note: PDF/X-1a does NOT warn you if your images are less than 300ppi at 100%.
  So I hope you checked. :)
• First Window
  • Save the file where you can find it
• Second Window: Settings
  • Under "General"
  • Check "Spreads"
  • Check "View PDF After Exporting"
  • Under "Marks and Bleeds"
  • Check "Crop Marks"
  • Check "Use Document Bleed Settings" (should be p9 or .125")
  • Click "Export"
• The pdf should pop up. Check to see if it has:
• - both pages,
• - crop marks,
• - and that the bleed is set up properly.
• If it does, this file can now be sent to the printer.
